We had a successsful Nordic Summer exhibition that ran from Wednesday 9th June to Sunday 20th June at 20 Heath Street in Hampstead, London NW3. The exhibition included works by artists from Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden from the nineteenth century to the present day.
Owing to the success of the exhibition, we will now be making it an annual event celebrating the start of summer in the Nordic countries with some wonderful art!
Nineteenth century artists whose work will be on view include Helene Schjerfbeck, Ivar Arosenius and Johan Laurentz Jensen. Contemporary artists include Joachim Allgulander, Hermann Lohe and Paavo Stenius. We are looking forward to bringing a wide range of talent from across Scandinavia and Finland to North London and hope to provide some much needed aesthetic joy following these tough times.
