Ann Simberg was born in Helsinki, Finland where she studied painting. Simberg left Finland at the age of 17 to live in the U.K, where she has remained, now based in London. She took a Fine Art Foundation in Morley College, 2011-2012 and then a Fine Art Diploma at the Art Adacemy in London 2012-2015. Ann works as both a painter and a print maker spending every summer in her country cottage next to Lake Kälaträsket between Snappertuna and Fagervik in Western Finland. The Finnish countryside forms the inspiration for much of her work.
Ann Simberg has held several exhibitions of her work in her native Finland and also exhibited her work on several occcasions in the U.K. most recently in January 2025 at 54 The Gallery, Shepherd's Market and she took part in a Climate Change exhibition at the Sir Peter Blake Gallery December 2023- January 2024.
