Ann Simberg was born in Helsinki, Finland where she studied painting.  Simberg left Finland at the age of 17 to live in the U.K, where she has remained, now based in London.  She works as both a painter and a print maker spending every summer in her country cottage next to Lake Kälaträsket between Snappertuna and Fagervik in Western Finland.  The Finnish countryside forms the inspiration for much of her work.

Ann Simberg has held several exhibitions of her work in her native Finland most recently in August 2022 at G12 Gallery in Helsinki.  An exhibition of her work opens in late June in Hangö, Western Finland.
